The Goal
of Trip and Travel is to have fun and bring happiness to the travelers

As you read,
this blog will be dedicated to Travel, Photography and Gaming. So, let’s get
started!
The first
city that I visit at Sumatra Island is Batam City. The city is very near to
Singapore. Therefore, you can go to Singapore from Batam City with fast ferry
(by sea). Batam is not exactly located at the Sumatra Island, but it is separated
from the main island.

So, this is
the first time I go to Batam. I am very excited and I decide to make Batam
visit as one of my blog posts. It’s so …(disayangkan) that forest near Batam
city are all been cut. So, many spot in the middle of the forest that is bald
of tree. I am sorry that I don’t have that picture, because I saw it from
airplane.
After
waiting for some minutes, my plane landed at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam. The
airport just look like common Indonesian airport. But, the view near the
airplane parking is good. There are like cliff with brown-reddish color. You
can see it when visit Batam.

By the way,
Another reason to go to Batam is to visit my mother’s friend. We got picked up
by her from the airport and they took us to a seafood restaurant. Not the fancy
one, but the taste of the foods are like from fancy restaurant. It is located
in the small village that (she said) there is no electricity. But the view is
good tho.

My mother’s
friend said that people there go to school by boat. I think it is very cool. It
is like not everyday you go to school and must go across watery area, usually
you go with cars, bicycle, motorcycle or mass transportation, but this one with
boat, it is very amazing !

The people
who lives there, mostly are fisherman. Because, it is near the sea, of course.
Even if they make a restaurant, the food mostly are seafood. It is a cozy and
simple place. We ordered three types of meals. First, the crab with chili sauce
or look like chili sauce. It is very appetizing. Then, there is fried squid,
that is very crunchy and crispy, and if you mix it with the crab sauce it is
very tasteful. And also Kangkung, a vegetable from Indonesia. It is very
healthy and tasteful too.

My mother’s
friend said that that place use to be crowded if it is Ramadhan or fasting
month. People will go there and eat. The view is beautiful. There are some
islands and sea that is clean. What a beautiful scence! I really enjoy being
there. After we order take-out food, we went to my mother’s friend’s house at
Batam Centre.
